Super stoked to share that I'll be playing the lead in a short student film called, "Thorns & Flowers". My character's name is Sage - a sharp, intelligent, curious and ironic woman in her mid-30's who drinks way too much wine. It's a romantic comedy, and did I mention I'm super stoked?

Excited to share that I've started taking a scene study showcase class with Jeffrey Zeiner! I attended Jeffrey's "open house" class a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, him, and his approach. I've also been dying to take a scene study class, and of particular interest is that this one will culminate in a showcase in April for casting directors, managers and agents.
Jeffrey assigned me and my excellent partner Elliott Ceasar a scene from "Rabbit Hole" by David Lindsay-Abaire, a beautiful, heart-breaking play about a couple navigating the loss of their child. It is definitely a challenge, but also one that I'm up for. Stay tuned for details on the showcase!
Super excited to share the trailer for "A Vital Sign"!
The film has been submitted to a bunch of festivals, so keep your fingers crossed for us!
I just spent a great weekend on Long Island shooting the dramatic short, "A House Doesn't Make a Home". It depicts an estranged couple's interactions through the lens of their young son. Despite the subject matter, I had a lot of fun working on this - the cast and crew were great and often hilarious (particularly my on-screen estranged husband, Robert Lincoln). Here are a few pictures!
It was a very cold shoot, but a fun one. The crew was amazing to work with, and the other actors (and parent!), were absolutely lovely. Here are some pictures!
Very excited to announce that I was just cast in a Columbia MFA film titled "The Things I Love" shooting next week! I'll be playing the middle-aged version of Ally - a woman grieving the loss of her mother. The script is beautiful, and the writer/director was wonderful to work with in the audition room - needless to say, I'm looking forward to this one.
Very excited to share that I'll be reading an excerpt from a one-woman show in a thesis showcase for graduating NYU Tisch playwriting students.
Synopsis: Filomena attempts to quit her activist work while grappling with the impact of trauma and isolation two years after her wife was killed in an anti-LGBTQ hate crime. Very excited to share my new headshots by the amazing Jessica Osber! She understood what I was looking for immediately and provided expert direction to get there. I feel like these shots more accurately reflect me and what I bring to a character. Check them out below and on my Photos page!
I had a great time last weekend filming, "The Fortune Teller" with Julia Tutko-Balena and Jill Safer (producers and director on "Fahrenheit"). Julia was playing quadruple duty as actor, writer, director, and producer, and Jill was a producer and the director of photography. I played Clara, a soccer mom with a dark secret. Here are some BTS photos!
