Man, what a curve ball.
COVID-19 is picking up steam, and to stop the spread (i.e. "flattening the curve"), the two showcase classes I'm in (The Growing Studio and Jeffrey Zeiner) are being rescheduled, "Primum Non Nocere" has pushed back its' shooting dates, and "Thorns and Flowers" is also postponing their final shoot dates. Big picture: it has put thousands of artists out of work. But what is absolutely remarkable is that every post I've seen from others has been "we're all in this together" - nothing but support for the effort to stop the spread of this disease.

Super stoked to share that I recently enlisted the services of Carol Todd (incredible actress and great editor) to put together a new reel. Check it out below and on my video page!
Excited to share that I'll be playing the lead in an NYU short film, "Primum Non Nocere". I'll be portraying Dr. Gale, an idealistic young doctor who slowly becomes more jaded.
What is particularly cool about this project is that the writer/director, Noah, found my profile on Backstage and reached out to me asking me to audition as he thought I'd be perfect for the part. We're shooting last weekend of March - stay tuned! Very excited to share that I'll be playing the supporting role of Sarah Bailey in "Just a Quick Trip", a Hofstra University Senior Thesis film! Sarah is the widowed mom to a teenager, who although very frustrated by her son, just wants him to be happy. It's a great script with a great team - we're shooting in early April!
I had the pleasure of working again with Lauren Goetzman (writer/director of "The Things I Love") on her latest short film, "2 Minutes" this past weekend. It's a dramatic piece about a wife and her husband - and I don't want to give any more away. :) You can watch the full piece on my Video page! Here are a few production stills: |
